Meet the Maker Behind KJK Needlepoint
Share
Hi, I’m Kiersten, the one-woman show behind KJK Needlepoint. I’ve loved all things creative for as long as I can remember, from craft projects and handmade gifts to hours spent sketching and painting growing up. That early love for making things eventually sparked an entrepreneurial spirit, and KJK Needlepoint grew from a personal hobby into something more.
I started this business as a creative outlet and a way to bring fresh, playful designs into the needlepoint world. My goal is to create canvases that are fun to stitch and feel personal, whether you're working on your very first project or adding to a growing stash.
You might notice a small ladybug in my logo. It’s a nod to my grandmother, who wasn’t an artist herself but brought immense warmth and joy to everyone around her. Including the ladybug is my way of keeping her close in something I love.
Each order is fulfilled by me, usually with a Diet Coke in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. Outside of needlepoint, I’m a special education teacher and live just outside New Orleans with my husband, David. When I’m not painting or teaching, I’m probably dreaming up new designs or adding to my own stitching stash.
Thank you for being here and supporting this small, growing business. It truly means the world!
